Dripping Springs ISD has opened new student registration and the Pre-K lottery for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
Families with students entering kindergarten through 12th grade can register online at dsisdtx.us/registration, while those seeking Pre-K placement should visit dsisdtx.us/pk to enter the lottery. There is also an address lookup tool available on the site for those who are unsure which campus their child will attend.
To complete registration, families will need to gather several documents in advance. Proof of residence is required. For homeowners, this could be a current tax statement showing a homestead exemption. Residence can also be established through a current lease agreement and a current electric bill.
Additional required documents include a parent or guardian photo ID, a certified birth certificate, the student’s Social Security card, and current immunization records. Families who qualify for an immunization exemption must submit a notarized exemption affidavit.
Students transferring from another school will also need to provide a withdrawal form from their previous campus, along with a recent unofficial transcript or report card and any available standardized test results.
