The Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra (DSYO) Chamber Ensemble won their division and overall First Place at the Austin Soundwaves Large Ensemble Festival on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The youth orchestra comprises children from DSISD, home schoolers, and private school students.
Concertmaster of the DSYO Chamber Ensemble, Liora Hong, received the Judge’s Choice Leadership Award.
DSYO is sponsored by the Arts Alliance of Central Texas (AAoCT) and conducted by Dr. Jan Davis.
