Early voting underway

Early voting in the joint primary election is currently underway, and Dripping Springs residents will see some familiar names on their ballots for the Republican primary.

Dripping Springs City Council member Geoffrey Tahuahua is the sole Republican candidate running for Hays County Judge.

The Democratic candidates running for Hays County Judge are incumbent Ruben Becerra, Michelle Cohen, current Hays County commissioner, and Joel Martin.

Dripping Springs City Council member Wm. Travis Crow and Dripping Springs ISD trustee Rob McClelland are also on the Republican ballot, both running for Hays County Commissioner for Pct. 4.

The Democratic candidates running for Hays County Commissioner Pct. 4 are Angie Unger and Laurie Brown.

Early voting locations in Dripping Springs include Patriots’ Hall of Dripping Springs and the Hays County Precinct 4 office on Roger Hanks Parkway. Both locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The last day for early voting is Friday, Feb. 27.
