Dripping Springs faced tough competition in the 2026 6A state wrestling tourney. However, Jackson Shipley, held fast as the reigning champion in the 120 class. He finished the season 51-1. In addition to winning the title, he was able to defeat Oliver Pulliam of Allen in the semis, the only person to put a defeat on him and finished with a win over James Murray of Lake Travis. Lucy Clarno was not as fortunate in reclaiming her title finishing fourth. The Lady Tigers placed 41st with 16 points and the Tigers 15th with 32.5.
