The varsity girls wrestling team won their second consecutive championship.
The Dripping Springs wrestling program flexed their muscles and ran away with all the titles by dominating each division in the 14-6A district meet. It is a habit they have honed in the last decade of competition. The varsity boys took their eighth title out of the last ten, while the girls took their second consecutive title. Both JV divisions won as well. Another well-deserved honor came when Coach Joe Kirksey was named District Coach of the Year for the Boys and Girls. The two varsities will be competing for the Regional title and trips to state tomorrow and Saturday.
