It’s been almost exactly one year since up-and-coming country music star Ty Myers, who grew up in Dripping Springs, released his debut album, “The Select.” Since then, he’s been touring to support that album, and has been getting a lot of attention - both from his fans and the media.

He was profiled in the Los Angeles Times in August, and by Rolling Stone and in September. He graced the cover of Guitar.com magazine in November. And just last week, he made his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing his song “Thought it Was Love.”

Starting in April, he’ll be touring in support of Luke Combs as part of his “My Kinda Saturday Night” tour, with dates across North America and in Europe.

You can also catch him at shows in Houston and San Antonio in February, but that’s the closest he’ll get to home for a while.

Myers got his start after he posted a song TikTok back in 2023, and went viral overnight. That’s still the platform where most of his fans follow him, but he’s also pretty active on Instagram these days. His music can be found on music streaming sites, like Spotify, and on YouTube.

He’s got a new album, “Heavy on the Soul,” set for release in March. Details on his upcoming performances can be found on his website, www.tymyersmusic.com.
