Hays County Sheriff’s Office corrections officer arrested

On Dec. 30, Hays County Sheriff’s Office corrections officer Isaiah Tiger was arrested by the Buda Police Department at the intersection of Interstate Highway 35 and Royston Road in Buda. Tiger was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B Misdemeanor. He is assigned to the Corrections Bureau and was off duty at the time of the incident.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office of Professional Responsibility will conduct an internal administrative investigation, which will run concurrently with the criminal investigation. Tiger has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the internal investigation.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office said an update will be provided when further information is available.
