Council approves roof repair bid for Dripping Springs Ranch Park

At its meeting on Jan. 6, the Dripping Springs City Council approved the bid for roof repair at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, awarding the contract to the lowest bidder, Elite Contracting Group LLC.

Thirteen bid proposals were received for the project, and after review, city staff recommended going with Elite Contracting Group for a total bid amount of $456,593.40.

The repairs will include cleaning and priming the existing roof, inspecting and repairing all existing roof fasteners, waterproofing all fasteners, seams, flashings, and penetrations, replacing existing fiberglass skylight panels with metal R-panels and installing exterior top of roof coating. The company also provided warranty options for 10 years,15 years, and 20 years.
