Continuing a favorite holiday tradition, Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals (DS Elite) celebrated the season by giving back to the community in partnership with its advertisers. Each year during the DS Elite Holiday Party, advertisers enter a drawing to win a $250 donation to the nonprofit organization of their choice — made by DS Elite on their behalf.
This year’s recipients and their chosen nonprofits were:
Clair Garner, Texas National Title – Greater San Marcos Youth Council
Renee’ Tarrance and Lula Leon, Highland Homes – Parten – RED Arena
Devon Morse, Independence Title – Burke Center for Youth
Kimberly Watson, SouthStar Bank – Hill Country Rally for Kids
Each nonprofit will receive a $250 donation, totaling $1,000 in charitable contributions this holiday season.
“We look forward to this tradition every year,” said Kristen Rummel, Charitable Giving/Nonprofit Committee Chair for DS Elite. “It’s a wonderful way to celebrate our advertisers while supporting the organizations that strengthen our community. These donations are small but meaningful gestures that align perfectly with DS Elite’s ongoing commitment to giving back.”
The Greater San Marcos Youth Council, RED Arena, Burke Center for Youth, and Hill Country Rally for Kids each serve missions ranging from youth and family support to equine-assisted therapy and programs benefiting children across Central Texas.
Clair Garner of Texas National Title selected Greater San Marcos Youth Council:
“The Greater San Marcos Youth Council provides safety, stability, and support to children who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Their work changes the trajectory of young lives, and supporting them is my way of helping ensure every child has a chance to feel safe, valued, and hopeful for the future.”
Renee’ Tarrance and Lula Leon of Highland Homes – Parten selected RED Arena:
“RED Arena holds a special place in our hearts because of the life-changing way they use horses to empower individuals with disabilities. Their programs build confidence, strength, and joy — and we’re proud to support an organization that brings real healing to families throughout Central Texas.”
Devon Morse of Independence Title selected Burke Center for Youth:
“The Burke Center for Youth offers young boys a level of care, structure, and emotional support that many have never experienced before. Their commitment to providing a safe, therapeutic environment for kids in crisis is extraordinary, and I’m honored to help support their mission.”
Kimberly Watson of SouthStar Bank selected Hill Country Rally for Kids:
“Hill Country Rally for Kids is an incredible organization that steps in for local children who need it most. Their fundraising efforts directly support essential services — from school supplies to emotional support — and they consistently show up for families in our community. Supporting them is an easy ‘yes’ for me.”
Steve Mallett, President of DS Elite and Advertisers Committee Board Liaison, said that advertisers are the backbone of DS Elite’s success.
“This tradition is one of my favorites because it brings their passions front and center. Every nonprofit represented here is doing remarkable work in our community, and being able to support them on behalf of our advertisers is a privilege,” Mallett said. “It’s a reminder that when local businesses come together, we can make a real and meaningful impact.”
