On Monday, Hays County Crime Stoppers released its Top 12 Most Wanted list. The organization, which is a non-profit organization established in 1981, aims to assist local law enforcement in publicizing information about crimes and wanted fugitives by offering rewards for information leading to arrests and or convictions.
The Crime Stoppers mission is to engage, educate, and empower citizens, communities, businesses, schools, visitors, the media, and law enforcement agencies in Hays County, Texas. Hays County Crime Stoppers partners with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, San Marcos Police Department, Kyle Police Department, Buda Police Department, Uhland Police Department, Texas State University-San Marcos Police Department, and the Hays County District Attorney’s Office.
The Top 12 Most Wanted list is published every other month by Hays County Crime Stoppers, in cooperation with its partners. Additional lists are posted to their website, including Most Wanted Crimes Against Children Offenders; Most Wanted Domestic Violence Offenders; Most Wanted Sex Offenders; Most Wanted (violent crimes); Wanted (non-violent crimes); and Texas Department of Criminal Justice Wanted Parole Violators. The goal is to help keep local communities safe from crime.

Information provided to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
