After a week of rain and clouds, beautiful weather showed up just in time for Saturday’s 21st annual Christmas on Mercer.
Tents lined the street with vendors selling their wares, and there were also fun activities for the crowd, including live music, an inflatable snow globe that the kids could get inside, and lots of fun characters, from Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Bluey and Elsa.
Of course, the main attraction for many was Santa Claus, who arrived by firetruck at 10 a.m. He set up shop in Hudson’s on Mercer, where families could have free photos taken with him, courtesy of realtor Ashley Tullis. Children could also write letters to Santa and drop them straight in the mailbox for special delivery.
