Christmas on Mercer

Hosted by the Dripping Springs Lions Club and the City of Dripping Springs, the downtown festivities will feature an old-fashioned holiday celebration on Mercer Street with live music and entertainment, arts and crafts booths, kid’s games and activities, and a festive selection of food and drinks. Santa arrives by fire truck at 10 a.m., and will settle in at Hudson’s on Mercers for photos. Visitors can also step inside a giant snow globe outside the warehouse district, enjoy a festive train ride and pet the Red Arena ponies. Seasons of Science, an outreach program from Texas State University’s Department of Biology and the Hays County Master Naturalists, is bringing free, family-friendly science activities to The Shady Llama and Roughhouse Brewing this winter. Explore seasonal changes, winter wildlife, and hands-on nature learning in a relaxed outdoor setting.

This year’s event includes an array of festive activities for guests of all ages. At the heart of Western Wonderland is the giant ice-skating rink. Visitors will glide and twirl under the twinkling lights on the largest outdoor ice-skating rink in Central Texas.
