One of the major problems of teams in the past has been the lack of scorers on the team. Early on the Lady Tigers this year have shown they are capable of putting points on the board and being competitive. Now they will have to show they can maintain that effort. They are presently 2-2. They defeated Hays Lehman 71-36 by starting fast with a 25-6 first quarter and had double-figures in each quarter. Kerrville Tivy has traditionally had a strong program and came back to defeat DS 64-50. The Lady Tigers held a 35-30 halftime lead but were outscored 34-15 the second.
