Community members will also have a chance to connect with LGBTQ+ organizations that support equality and inclusion.

“Our mission at Beerburg Events is to foster community building through inclusive, meaningful celebrations,” said Ross Nearburg, owner of Beerburg Events. “We understand how important it is to create places of institutional support and safety for underrepresented communities. By partnering with Pride of Dripping Springs, we hope to establish a space where everyone can feel welcome in the Hill Country.”

The event also marks the official launch of Pride of Dripping Springs new “Friends with PRIDE” annual giving group, designed to build community and fund programming for LGBTQIA+ residents and allies in and around Dripping Springs.

“Boos & Brews gives us a chance to celebrate openly while also raising the resources we need to keep building spaces of care, creativity, and pride in our town,” said Julie Balderrama, Secretary of Pride of Dripping Springs. “We encourage everyone to become a Friend With Pride to help fund family-friendly programs, hikes and happy hours, parent support groups, community talks with lawmakers and other LGBTQIA+ experts, and more as we make Dripping Springs a place where queer people, families and allies find community and know they belong.”
