Eighteen students from the Dripping Springs High School choir program earned spots on the Region 18 Choir following their performances at the first round of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Choir auditions, held Saturday, Oct. 4, at Bowie High School in Austin.
All 18 students will advance to the Pre-Area round of auditions, scheduled for Saturday, November 15, at Johnson High School in Buda.
They will also perform in the Region 18 Choir Concert on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center. A time has yet to be announced. The concert is free and open to the public.
