Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals (DS Elite) is proud to announce a new community partnership with PAWS Shelter of Central Texas, a local no-kill animal shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pets in need.
Through this initiative, DS Elite will help shine a light on long-stay dogs and cats at PAWS’ Dripping Springs campus. Statistics show that the longer an animal stays in a shelter - no matter how loving the environment - the harder it becomes for them to be adopted. Extended time in a shelter can lead to stress, anxiety, and a decline in overall well-being for these pets.
“Dripping Springs Elite believes in using our platform to give back to the community, and PAWS’ mission deeply resonates with us,” said Samantha LeBlanc, DS Elite Charitable Giving/Community Committee member. “Every pet deserves a second chance, and by raising awareness we hope to help more families open their hearts and homes.”
Throughout the month of October, DS Elite will highlight adoptable longstay pets from PAWS on social media, encouraging the community to step in whether through adoption, fostering, or donations. Each act of kindness helps provide food, medical care, and the love these animals deserve.
Also as part of this initiative, Dripping Springs Elite will donate $1,000 to PAWS of Central Texas in November to support the shelter’s operational costs. This contribution will help provide food, medical care, and safe housing for animals while they wait for their forever homes.
