Lone Star Gourd Festival to be held this weekend

The 30th Annual Lone Star Gourd Festival will be held Oct. 17-18 at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. The event will include fine art and craft vendors, an imagination station with a free make-andtake for kids, and classes for all skill levels. Attendees can also visit the Fine Gourd Art competition area.

The event is sponsored by the nonprofit Texas Gourd Society. Single day admission is $5, and both days are $8. Kids 12 and under are free. Hours will be Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.texasgourdsociety. org.
