Seasons of Science, brought to you by Texas State University’s Department of Biology and the Hays County Master Naturalists, is transforming two area breweries into interactive science spaces this weekend.
The program aims to make science enjoyable for adults in a welcoming environment where community members can learn together. Families can explore local wildlife and their roles in the ecosystem; learn about animals at an interactive education table; play a hands-on animal tracks game; create antlers at the craft table; or join a guided nature exploration with a Research Rangers Guide (each hour, on the hour) The Seasons of Science team will be at Shady Llama in Wimberley on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at Roughhouse Brewing in San Marcos on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
