Hays County Master Gardeners will host fall plant & tree sale
Fall is here, temperatures are finally cooler, and that means the Hays County Master Gardeners Association (HCMGA) is holding its annual Fall Plant & Tree Sale. The event will feature a wide variety of shade and ornamental trees, ground covers, grasses, perennials, shrubs, herbs, and succulents. Many of the plants are propagated from the Master Gardeners’ own cuttings and seeds.
The online sale runs Oct. 15-21, 2025, at http://haysgardener. square.site. The in-person event will be held at the Dripping Springs Farmers Market on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. It is located at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. That is also where online purchases should be picked up.
Plants and trees sold through the HCMGA sale are specifically propagated for the unique environment of Hays County, ensuring greater success in local gardens. Proceeds from the sale fund Master Gardener continuing education programs and community training classes for anyone interested in learning more about gardening and landscaping.
At the in-person sale on Oct. 22, customers also have the opportunity to “Ask a Gardener” questions.
