After a grueling predistrict schedule, the Lady Tigers (18-13) are ready to tackle district play. It will be a very tough order this year. Lake Travis and Austin High have topranked teams plus Westlake and Bowie have strong programs. The chances for the Lady Tigers were greatly boosted when their top player, Henley Anderson, returned from her overseas tour to join the team. Recently they competed in the big 68team Leander Volleypalooza tourney. Teams came from as far as California. They split with the eight opponents they played and mutually agreed with Westlake to not play in a final meaningless game and save their matches for district. They defeated Hays and Waco Midway as district begins.
