The application window for Dripping Springs ISD’s Community Advisory Committees for the 2025-26 school year is open through Friday, September 5.
Dripping Springs ISD is seeking community members - including parents, taxpayers, businesses and others - to serve on DSISD's Community Advisory Committees, providing valuable insight, expertise, and feedback to the district.
Community Advisory Committees provide input to the district on a variety of subjects, including district and campus planning, academic programming, student health initiatives, among others. They also seek to strengthen the ties between the district, its campuses, and the community, and enhance the core educational process.
Stakeholders may apply for as many committees as they like; however, participants are limited to serving on one district community advisory committee per year. A list of committees for the 2025-26 school year are as follows:
COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEES
- Bond Advisory Committee
- Campus Advisory Committee
- CTE Advisory Committee
- District Advisory Committee
- District of Innovation Committee
- Gifted & Talented Advisory Committee
- High School #2 Naming & Branding Committee
- Safety & Security Committee
- School Health Advisory Council
- School Library Advisory Committee
- Special Education Parent Leadership Committee
Applications will be reviewed and stakeholders will be notified no later than October 1 if they have been selected for a committee. Applicants are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevant areas of expertise and credentials;
- Equitable campus and demographic representation;
- Prior or current membership on district-level or campus-level committees;
- Prior or current membership on community committees;
- Individual interest and rationale for applying to serve on the specified committee.
