Volleyball team has rough outing in Pearland tournament

The Dripping Springs volleyball team made their annual trek to Pearland to play in that strong tourney. While waiting on their top player to return, they were able to compete very well but came out with a 3-4 record. Since they changed the scoring rule to where someone scores each time the ball is served instead of only the server, the scores are usually very close against really good teams and many games are won by the minimum of two points. The Lady Tigers evened their record for the week to 4-4 when they took down SA Reagan in a regularly scheduled game.

Week’s results: SA Reagan (26-24, 2125,23-25, 17-25); Tourney: Houston Kinkaid (25-13, 2517); Montgomery (2518, 28-26); FW Eagle Mountain (25-16, 2729, 21-25); SA Harland (22-25, 2826, 22-25); Prosper (15-25, 25-23, 20-25); Manvel (25-27, 25-23, 25-23); Klein Oak (23-25, 22-25).

The Lady Tigers will be finishing up their tournament season this weekend when they venture over to Leander Rouse to participate in the Volleypalooza.
