Hill Country Rally for Kids BBQ Cookoff July 25 & 26
The annual BBQ Cook-Off at Camp Ben is back, bigger, better, and smokier than ever. This family friendly event, which benefits local children’s charities, is free to attend. BBQ is available for a donation. About 50 to 75 teams will compete in this IBCA-sanctioned event. Driftwood Honey Harvest Festival at Vista Brewing July 26 • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This celebration of pollinators, honeybees & all things honey is presented by the Texas Natural Beekeepers Association and Vista Brewing. It is a free, family friendly, community event that helps to raise money for the Texas Natural Beekeeper Association’s (TNBA) Youth Scholarship & Mentoring Program, whose teaching apiary is located on Vista's ranch. Check out beeswax candles from Hunter's Hive, locally made ice cream from Beanz Creamz and beekeeping services from BeeMindful Honey Farms.

The Dripping Springs Farmer’s Market is held on Wednesdays at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Visitors can gather and shop for fresh agricultural and related products. For the summer, the market will keep its afternoon schedule, but will move inside into the air conditioning.

Join the Hays County Master Naturalists on the first ever Batch Watch at Dripping Springs Ranch Park! This is a free event.
Attendees will meet in the parking lot near the ranch house. It is suggested to bring binoculars, a chair, drinks and a notepad. Bats generally emerge in small groupings.
