Science Mill presents “Chomp Challenge” for next Imagination Unboxed July 26, 27

The Science Mill will present the next “Imagination Unboxed” on July 2627. This is a chance for young visitors to use engineering skills to build and create unique items using only cardboard.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

This month's theme is Sharks! Guests will practice their observation skills by studying shark jaws and learning the purpose behind the different shapes of their teeth. Just like shark biologists, they’ll examine mouth anatomy and behavior. Then, using nothing but cardboard, guests will create a shark jaw with teeth designed to cut, grip, or crush prey. All activities are included free with general admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www. sciencemill.org under Upcoming Events. Walk-ins are welcome. The museum’s regular exhibits and gift shop will be open.

The Science Mill, a 501(c)3 non-profit museum, is located at 101 South Lady Bird Lane, Johnson City TX. Founded in 2015, the museum offers innovative STEM programs and interactive exhibits to all students, regardless of economic status, location, gender or race.
