City of Dripping Springs swears in City Council

Texas

Place 1, Place 3 and Place 5 City Council Members for the city of Dripping Springs were officially sworn in earlier this month.

On Tuesday, May 16, council members that had been up for election this spring were sworn in for new twoyear terms, which began immediately. Municipal Court Judge Marilyn Miller performed the swearing-in at the Dripping Springs City Hall, located at 511 W Mercer St. Mayor Pro Tem Taline Manassian will continue serving as Place 1, Geoffrey Tahuahua will continue serving as Place 3 and Sherrie Parks will continue serving as Place 3.

All three council members ran unopposed, causing the city to cancel the general election that would have been otherwise scheduled for May 6.

Terms for Mayor, Place 2 and Place 4 will be up in 2024. Dripping Springs City Council terms alternate each year.
