Ben R. Breed

Ben R. Breed, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed peacefully on to his heavenly reward surrounded by his family on September 30, 2021 after a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Janie Lee Breed, and sons Carter (wife Liz), Christopher, and Corey. Ben also leaves behind five adoring grandchildren, Ellie, Abigail, Catherine, Campbell, and Charlie. Ben is also survived by his older brother, Truman Breed, Jr., his younger sister, Wanda Breed Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl Lloyd Kendall

Born on July 26, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, to Elmer Lloyd Kendall and Ruth Kent Hilton. He was the oldest of several children and moved with his mother and sister Eloise (Joy) to North Dakota temporarily taking as his last name Sorlie. In the 1940’s he moved to central Texas and it was in Texas that he resided since. The people that were fortunate enough to know him refer to him lovingly as one of the “sweetest” or “gentlest” of men. He would go above and beyond for the people around him and that he loved. He was a charitable man, and he gave time and money to numerous charitable organizations and individuals. Whenever someone needed help, Carl was there with a servant’s heart.

Daisy Kay Hohmann

Daisy Kay Hohmann, 75, of Wimberley, Texas (formerly of Dripping Springs) passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on September 16, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Austin, Texas on January 1, 1946, to Leroy Roberts and Katherine King Roberts.
